3 Songs

I posted “3 Songs” on July 11, 2124. It is a personalized biography of three jazz standards: Hoagy Carmichael and Mitchell Parish’s Star Dust, Billy Strayhorn’s Lush Life, and Lionel Hampton and Johnny Mercer’s Midnight Sun.

It is now September 2025, and I have replaced the post with a published book, full title: “3 Songs: How the Genius of America Created Three Jazz Standards (and why my brain thinks they are related).”
